About Benjamin Potts

"Pioneering spirit should continue, not to conquer the planet or space... but rather to improve the quality of life." - Bertrand PiccardAs a kid, one of the quotes I would hear so frequently as someone who participated in a lot of athletics was that you are "only as strong as your weakest link." This was meant to motivate us to not only rise up as individuals but to rise up the team as a whole, to embrace teamwork on the path to success and that is where we will flourish. This quote resonates with me now even today, but on a scale as large as the world. As someone attending school for a health profession and gearing toward a career in said field, I see our global community as a large-scale pool of research. The countless questions I ask myself every day about how a society that is advanced in so many fashions has fallen so far behind in rudimentary aspects of self-preservation. Yet, I am blessed to be someone willing to ask the "why's" of the world, and having the incessant desire to answer those questions and to educate the public on the very same note. The world is dynamic and ever-changing, so it is up to us with the power to incite change to be able to look back in history and say we did just that. I am an avid listener (and reader!) of all things science-based, as I draw much inspiration from podcasts, journals, channels, and pages of those who seem to ooze it. I make the effort to educate myself daily on breaking facets of integrative physiology with the most up to date and compelling information about our body and making the case that the best medicine we can have isn't a medicine at all. I love training and working hard diligently to be the best version of myself on a daily basis. Feel free to reach out anytime!
