I am an Indianapolis-based violin teacher and performing violinist, I have been teaching for a decade now. My students learn effective practice strategies, pure intonation, phrasing, style, and can produce a rich and varied tone with the bow. Several of them have received scholarships from their high schools or even auditioned to win full tuition scholarships at the collegiate level!Chamber music is my greatest passion, and you will find me providing music at weddings, memorial services, and other events in Indianapolis and beyond. I am a member of various chamber music collectives such as Abel Family Quartet and Friends and Cosmopolitan Chamber Players (NYC), where I provide concerts of classical chamber music in both private and community settings. I have performed chamber music alongside members of the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, and St. Lawrence Quartet.I previously served as concertmaster of the Hendricks Symphony Orchestra, and now perform regularly with numerous orchestras including the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, and the Danville Symphony Orchestra.As a soloist I have performed concertos by Bach, Vivaldi, Saint-Saens, and Chausson with the Butler Symphony Orchestra, the Hendricks Symphony Orchestra, and the Cosmopolitan Chamber Orchestra.
