My career has gone through complete revolution experiencing all the facets of the civil/structural engineering profession. This revolution has taken me through consultancy jobs where I have been involved in the design of buildings, footbridges, railway bridges, underbridges, overbridges and sign & signal gantries using various construction materials. I have also been involved in the supervision of construction projects; there is nothing more exciting than seeing my design being constructed as an engineer.Besides design and supervision, I have also been involved in managing construction projects where I have been involved in the running of projects; this includes managing materials, labour, equipment and the construction process. The final facet of the revolution has seen me imparting knowledge to students which has been rewarding based on the rich experience I have acquired over the years both locally and internationally.The revolution that started in Ghana, took me to Southampton in England, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and back to Ghana. Fulfilling as this may be, I am still more than eager to add on to my experience and knowledge especially in the areas of project execution, research and innovation which I am currently embarking on. This is motivated by the satisfaction of attaining each set target.
