NNPC is a Nigerian state oil company responsible for the exploration, production, and marketing of petroleum and petroleum products in Nigeria. I work with NNPC Gas Infrastructure Company (NGIC), a subsidiary of NNPC.While I was here, I:° Conducted gas flow observations from Escravos (Warri) to NGIC, Lekki-Lagos, overseeing pressure reduction and minor separations at our plant before delivering to our customer, Dangote Fertilizer Limited (DFL).° Generated daily reports in Microsoft Excel and periodic two-hourly reports, ensuring timely communication with The Asset Operations West HQ and our client, DFL.° Collaborated with the maintenance department during servicing, valve Calibrations (PSV), and addressing broken components. Assisted the HSE team and regulatory bodies on days they came for inspection.° I sub-supervised external technicians to ensure they stick to safe and best engineering practices like the use of non-spark tools during maintenance in the gas plant. ° Days of unusual scenarios, I actively participated in problem-solving and brainstorming with both DFL and Egbin teams to regain station stability. My team and I achieve these by tuning our components and valves to regain stability. • Performed daily plant inspections, including the replacement of Barton charts, contributing to the overall facility's smooth operation.• Since I joined, there has been zero downtime or breakdown from our facility. We achieve this by integrating measures like periodic overviews and calling the attention of our maintenance team to address the potential fault, no matter how little.• Through consistent vigilance, timely interventions, and Engineering best practices, our team enabled Dangote Fertilizer Limited to maintain its status as the largest fertilizer-producing company in Africa, by delivering its allocated gas volume without disruption.
