Performed flight deck engineer duties during Space Shuttle launch, re-entry and landing, two space walks aboard the International Space Station, and operated the Space Shuttle robotic arm on orbit.

Director for logistics support for all US, Japanese, and Canadian astronauts receiving Soyuz spacecraft and International Space Station crewmember training at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.

Responsible for aviation safety, spaceflight safety and mission assurance, occupational safety, and risk management for NASA Astronaut corps, and Astronaut Office personnel.

Performed repairs, cargo transfer, and education outreach on orbit aboard the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station.

Led five-person engineering team responsible for Astronaut Office and Flight Crew Operations Directorate liaison with the International Space Station (ISS) Program Payload Control Board as well as Marshall Spaceflight Center’s payload development and integration teams.

Student in 15-month course of instruction covering all aspects of human spaceflight aboard the Space Shuttle and International Space Station (ISS).

• Led 36-member organization conducting developmental and qualification flight test for Air Force Special Operations Command aircraft acquisitions and upgrades.• Test pilot for Special Operations Forces aircraft development and upgrade.

• Manager for research, development and acquisition of mission systems for fleet of 105 combat rescue aircraft. Defined USAF combat search and rescue mission requirements.• Produced USAF combat rescue modernization strategic plan and articulated detailed mission needs, operational requirements, modification proposals and acquisition plans.• Reviewed laboratory development projects, determined applicability towards mission needs, set test criteria, evaluated results and made program recommendations.

Deputy for operation of ground and flight test programs -- operational oversight of seven test/support squadrons, 80 aircrew members and a fleet of 26 aircraft in an austere environment. Planned and executed flight experiments involving one-of-a-kind test aircraft, and provided technical data for senior DoD leaders and combat commands.

• Commanded 102-member joint test force that planned, conducted, analyzed and reported flight test evaluations for advanced technology flight test programs• Test pilot for research and development on aircraft prototype and concept demonstrations in support of USAF, DoD, and inter-agency government requirements.
