Serve as a company representative to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine, manage; page for the class of 2022 students, schedule and plan the Total Veterinary Planning Services events.

Assisted clinicians with client/patient receiving and discharge, handled client complaints, provided restraint and assistance during acupuncture treatment, performed therapeutic laser sessions, participated in traditional Chinese medicine diagnostic examinations. Assisted certified rehabilitationtechnician with long term treatment plans, performed physical therapy on patients, and supervised animals in the aqua-treadmill.

Completed a bihourly chart for each ICU patient, monitored heart rates and respiratory rates, administered medications, monitored blood pressures, set up fluid pumps.

Stabilized wildlife patients (birds, squirrels, turtles), cleaned the zoological medicine wards, ordering supplies and medications, organized stock, and orienting the new rotating veterinary students into the service. Certified to drive LSU vehicles. Trained to safely handle raptors and many other North American wildlife species as well as client owned exotic species.

Primarily assisted with research that evaluated plague management in wild populations of prairie dogs throughout Colorado. Assisted with population surveys, vector monitoring and management, capture, anesthesia, and venipuncture of both captive and free-ranging prairie dog colonies. Assisted the CPW veterinary pathologist with various necropsies. Helped the CPW veterinary staff with medical management and care of captive wildlife at the research facility. Presented a presentation on the program and research to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine upon completing.

Assisted in scholarly research under Dr. Alexandra Noel, the principal investigator. The research evaluated the contribution of JUUL(e-cigarette) aerosol exposures to emphysema progression in a murine model of atherosclerosis. Lung function, structure, and biochemical changes were assessed. Presented the findings at the National Veterinary Summer Scholars Symposium in Worchester, Massachusetts July 2019.

Responsible for swimming pool operations, including lifeguard schedules, finances, snack bar and membership dues.

Provided routine husbandry care for boarded dogs and cats. Duties included walking, feeding, administering medications, processed fecal samples, and restrained dogs for examination and treatment.
