Current Operate instrumentation specific to natural gas monitoring, operations and installation Install gas main lines and auxiliary pipes (e.g. electric fuse high-density (HDPE) medium-density (MDPE) pipe) Service residential, commercial and industry natural gas system (i.e. flows, pressures, pressure points, etc.) including low-, medium- and high-pressure systems Carry out shut downs of primary natural gas lines in accordance with Public Utilities Commission (PUC) safety specifications Identify the source of natural gas leaks and propane to repair to original operating conditions Respond to emergencies relating to natural gas leaks and explosions Operate heavy machinery within pre-existing utility tolerance zones Complete documentation as required by PUC, OSHA and Department of Transportation (DOT) (e.g. leak migration reports, attendance sheets, etc.) Navigate MapFrame FieldSmart to complete internally required records Interact directly with customers to fulfill specific service requests Maintain optimal operating equipment conditions with daily checks, greasing, and filling fluids as needed
