During my time as an Audit Associate, I conducted external audits for a diverse range of clients spanning agribusiness, banking, education, and manufacturing sectors. This role demanded the utilization of strong analytical and technical accounting skills to assess financial statements and internal controls, ensuring adherence to established accounting standards. Furthermore, I collaborated effectively with senior auditors in identifying material mistatements to the clients financial statement and reported on them accordingly. Leveraging my knowledge of tax regulations, I served as a trusted advisor to clients, representing them in complying with their tax obligations. My responsibilities included preparing and filing tax returns while strategically optimizing their tax positions. Beyond tax compliance, I provided additional consulting services, including fraud investigation.

Within this role, I served as a teaching and research assistant for my supervisor and other lecturers. This included assisting with the execution of research studies by conducting literature reviews and analyzing data. I further facilitated the academic process by reviewing theses, dissertations, and student project work. Additionally, I actively contributed to effective knowledge transfer by assisting in the delivery of lectures and tutorials to undergraduate students enrolled in various accounting courses including Foundations of Accounting. As a Back-office intern, I gained valuable experience in account management and client onboarding within the private banking sector. I streamlined account organization by efficiently sorting and filing both newly created and existing client accounts. Furthermore, I actively supported client onboarding by generating Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) for new clients, ensuring an efficient account setup process.My primary focus within the commercial lending department involved assisting loan managers with assessing the creditworthiness of potential business clients. This included collaborating on financial statement analysis utilizing spreadsheets. Additionally, I played a crucial role in loan processing through meticulous filing and organization of client files. I also actively facilitated import financing arrangements for clients by completing and cross-checking necessary documents. This entailed verifying information and performing the appropriate foreign exchange rate conversions.

As an intern, I facilitated loan application process by gathering client information and accurately completing application forms. I ensured clients fully understood the loan terms and conditions by providing clear explanations and addressing any questions they may have. I generated comprehensive weekly credit reports, summarizing client financial data and risk assessments. I also played a key role in managing loan repayments by assisting with client collections while adhering to established procedures. I maintained the accuracy and integrity of client and business records through consistent data management and updates.
