Oversees the full spectrum of product development (concept, design, implementation, test, production, and support) as it relates to antenna systems.● Technical advisor / mentor to provide insight to other antenna engineers regarding design considerations, previous company IP, software training, tips/tricks, etc. ● Simulate, design and test, with support from individual team contributors, the development of various antenna systems in line with customer requirements and objectives. ● Help draft requirements (SCDs) and extract from those that are directly related to the antenna system. Work directly with customers on deriving these requirements.● Support any travel or on-site visits needed to troubleshoot or complete a customer project.● Work directly with Chief Scientist to identify new projects and perform risk-reduction during Business Development (BD) phase. Once job is created and risk-reduction completed, pass off design to antenna engineer (or self complete design ) to take the design to completion. Support design until completion.
