The Summer Authentic Research Experience Fellowship offered me an opportunity to work with Dr. Sven Buerki to develop my coding skills in the R language. In which I developed a program to skim the NCBI database to correlate Gene-to-Gene connections to help predict drought tolerance in Big Sagebrush.

This position comprising of working with Dr. Eric Hayden at Boise State University throughout my undergraduate degree, ranging to receiving fellowships to full-time pay. I worked as a research technician on the development of DNA origami to be used in Digital Nucleic Acid Memory storage.
