With over a decade of experience in the care sector, I currently serve as a Lead Residential Support Worker specialising in Educational and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). My journey in this field, spanning aover two years, has been enriching and eye-opening, allowing me to make a tangible difference in the lives of those I support.Prior to my current role, I dedicated eight years to general support work, where I honed my ability to connect with and assist a diverse range of individuals. This experience has been instrumental in shaping my approach to care, marked by empathy, patience, and adaptability.Beyond my primary role, I bring a unique blend of technical skills to the table, thanks to my BSc in Network Engineering, Security, and Systems Administration. This academic background, coupled with a natural propensity for technology, led me to also assume the role of IT Engineer within my company.
