In my position I managed critical infrastructure projects from inception to final inspection and closeout. My work included the authoring of submittals, RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, schedules, and I arranged and lead preconstruction meetings, design meetings, regular weekly site meetings with key field staff to go over production and any issues that may have been discovered. I obtained permits and met with any government officials and all inspectors. Purchased all equipment and long lead items. Tracked all progress made and assessed the financial health of my projects on a weekly basis. Additionally, I assisted in the estimation of large-scalemechanical projects performing take-offs of dry and wet side. In some cases, I prepared the complete estimate and sales turn over packages.

• Due to a change in business structure Bartoli Mechanical Inc., (see below) Became BMI General Engineering, Inc. In my position I directed, and managed all aspects of administration,the project management team, facility maintenance department, the service department and construction department. Our work consisted mainly of commercial, industrial, and institutional new construction, retrofits, remodels, special projects, and facility maintenance. BMI had a large Commercial and Industrial Customer base that called on us for all their HVAC needs. Additionally, we were heavily involved with civil projects that had mechanical aspects mainly for the major railroad companies, and petroleum refineries in southern and northernCalifornia, and several other states for Special Projects of various types and nature. Some of our projects included the construction of utility bridges, above ground pipeline, underground pipeline with containment systems, containment barriers for existing above ground fuel storage tanks and fuel offloading stations, hot taps to existing high pressure transmission pipeline, (as well as many other types of piping) soil remediation, storm water pump stations and vaults and we designed and installed oil water separators for may industrial sites as well as many retrofits or additions to existing water treatment plants that included the construction or modifications of clarifiers, centrifuges, and process piping. In the health care sector, we assisted with system design and installed specialty chilled water equipment for the cooling of linear accelerators primarily used in the field of oncology, assisted with the design and constructed several pharmacies and patient consultation rooms within existing hospitals. Additionally, we performed the replacement or repair of existing HVAC equipment and BMS serving active emergency rooms, trauma centers, patient rooms, surgery suites, and waiting rooms.
