Hello, hei, hola, und willkommen! My name is Ben, and I'm a Computer Science graduate from Durham University whose favourite things in the world include, but not limited to, programming, game development, language learning, and cats.By far my biggest project to date, with over 7,000 downloads, 1,300 stars on GitHub, and over 200 members on the official Discord, is Tabletop Club: It is a free and open source application that allows players to play board games together online in a physics-based 3D environment! It is made using the popular open source Godot Engine, and it has even made headlines with the game being featured on GamingOnLinux!While I have learnt a lot about game development while working on Tabletop Club, it has also allowed me to gain experience in a number of other disciplines, including networking, system administration, web development, community management, and security.I've also had experience with many of the most popular programming languages, including Python, Rust, Javascript, Java, PHP, and anything that starts with the letter 'C' (C, C++, C#).I've also had experience working directly with different clients and team members, although this has mostly been during my academic career. I can't wait to use the experience and knowledge I've gathered over the years in a work environment surrounded by team members that are just as passionate about software development as I am!
