Work has taken me to some amazing cities; Lagos, Chicago, Abu Dhabi, Hyderabad, Shanghai and many more. However, it is Japan that has provided the challenge and reward and contributed to my growth. In Japan, relationship is important in business. However, the demands of business partnership is changing along with the rest of the world. Customers are looking at the value of the partnership and the traditional “relationship-only-basket” strategy is no longer sufficient. This creates the biggest opportunity for current and aspiring account managers in Japan.This is where I come in. My experience working with people from different markets have allow me to be adaptable. I relocated from Singapore in 2017 and have been responsible for recruiting, developing and mentoring a multicultural team of account managers and future leaders. I have a proven record in helping my client/partners achieve their organization goals while achieving revenue growth for the company and developing tomorrow leaders. Experience has proven that leading and "walking with" my team, it is possible for a multicultural team with an appreciation of local nuance and a globalise mindset can make a difference and impact.
