• Plans for, directs and coordinates applications of both the Criminal Investigative Unit and Direct Indictment Unit.• Administers program, manage and supervise investigative unit in conducting comprehensive criminal investigations and research.• Overseas the collection and discovery of evidence to be used in criminal cases.• Coordinates continued professional and required annual training for officers/investigators in compliance with Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy standards.• Updates and implements office policy and procedure for investigative and direct indictment unit.• Researches and coordinates the purchases of law enforcement equipment.• Conducts special investigation assigned by the County Prosecutor.• Serves as the domestic violence investigator with the Summit County Domestic Violence Unit.• Manages and administrates various law enforcement/investigative databases(OHLEG, CLEAR, OARRS, DFACTS, JPEX, BMV, LEADS, VizVox, Magloclen)• Coordinate and provide security details for the County Prosecutor and staff.• Conducts presentation with schools and private citizens in regards to computer related crimes and social media investigations/awareness such as Facebook, twitter, sexting, cell phone applications, teen bullying etc.)

• Serve as commissioned Peace Officer to enforce state, local and park district laws• Patrol assigned areas to ensure the safety to park visitors• Investigate illegal or suspected illegal activity within the park district• Educate and provide information to park visitors
