Led topsides structural portion of the Detailed Design phase to support the addition of a new production riser and gas lift umbilical on Chevron’s Blind Faith Semi-Submersible in the Gulf of Mexico. Scope included adding a pig launcher deck, designing 4 skid frames, and developing multiple unique pipe supports. Engineering included in-place analysis with facility motions, lifting analysis, and transportation design.Led two FEED (Front End Engineering Design) projects:- Chevron TVEX (Tahiti Vertical EXpansion) Pre-FEED and FEED brownfield project with topsides structural supporting the addition of two new production flowline risers, one test riser, and supporting umbilical. Major challenges included dealing with weight limitations and significant green water (wave overtopping) loading.- Sonagol Caco-Gazela FEED analysis for a tripod wellhead structure (jacket and topsides) off the coast of Angola. Challenges included maintaining the stability and strength of a jacket tripod in approximately 82 meters of water using SACS.
