I am an Senior Applied Scientist working for Amazon Web Services developing Generative AI methods including Diffusion Models and LLMs. I received my PhD in Computer Vision and Deep Learning from the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Andrew Fitzgibbon and Roberto Cipolla. My PhD focused on 3D reconstruction methods for challenging object classes, such as animals and humans. I've also worked on pose estimation, image segmentation, action recognition and more.Prior to Cambridge, I graduated from the University of Warwick with a first-class degree in Discrete Mathematics, achieving departmental awards for highest graduating student and best dissertation project. Outside the lab, I am a pianist, singer, theatre-goer and runner. I've also recently realised a true passion for skiing!

Pianist / AccompanistThe Little Hallinbury Choir Sep 2010 - Jul 2012Having achieved my Grade 8 with Distinction Piano qualification, I spent two years employed as the paid accompanist for a local choir. I was responsible for teaching the music, accompanying and performing individually. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to perform with our choir at a residential care home for people suffering with mental health I developed communicative skills by interacting with people of all age groups to ensure that the choir was ready to perform at the next concert. I also established team skills by working with the Choir Master to ensure that each person in the choir knew their roles and spending extra time after rehearsals with members that were not as confident. I developed my ability to learn quickly since each week I was provided with a previously unseen piece of music which I then helped the choir to learn.
