• Evaluated and treated orthopedic and sport patient populations, including patients with patellofemoral pain, tendinopathies, acute and chronic pain, post-operative rehabilitation, and more.• Assisted with video running gait analysis and appropriate interventions for treatment of injured runners, conducted injury consults at a local running apparel store, assisted in teaching a strength and conditioning and injury risk reduction class, and observed custom orthotic assessment, fabrication and fit.

• Planned and implemented unique treatments in an outpatient neurologic setting for patients with Parkinson’s, abnormal posture/tone, ataxia, weakness, mobility deficits, and more.

• Designed, distributed, collected, and analyzed quantitative/qualitative surveys within our student cohort that assessed the faculty performance at the University of Montana Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science. Summary reports were compiled and shared with the faculty as part of their internal faculty evaluation process.

• Assisted in conducting primary research on lower extremity loading.• Guided participants through a battery of tests including maximal force output of the quadriceps and soleus, maximal vertical jump, Y-balance, dorsiflexion ROM, and more.• Applied markers and calibrated cameras for 3D motion capture and running gait analysis.

• Rotated between different rehabilitation units, working with patients in pediatrics, NICU, ICU, cardiac, neuro, oncology, post-surgical and post-amputation, and additional opportunities to observe orthopedic surgeries.• Presented an inservice to the inpatient physical therapy rehabilitation department on phantom limb pain.

• Designed and delivered specific treatments for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, including patients with tendinopathies, low back pain, post-operative ACL rehab, and more.

• Implemented the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and appropriate interventions, assisted in completing Functional Capacity Evaluations through the Valpar Joule FCE system, provided patient education on chronic pain, developed therapeutic exercise programs, and performed manual therapy for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
