Producing the PCBs and PCBAs that power, control, and communicate with our Starlink satellites. Leading a team of engineers and technicians to produce Starlink phased arrays, power electronics, and computational hardware while ensuring high quality to allow for years of harsh service in space. Designing world-class production facilities and innovating custom manufacturing solutions to balance high volume production, low transformation costs of PCBAs, and high quality (IPC Class 3) hardware. We build the electronics that bring internet to over 2 million people every second of every day!

Full-time work on satellite phased array antenna systems supporting SpaceX's Starlink program. Starlink uses low earth orbit (LEO) satellites equipped with phased array antennas to provide high bandwidth, low latency internet communication across the world.

I lead a team of students in pursuit of discovering more about RF (low frequency) and particle emissions from lightning. Working on this team, I developed a high altitude balloon platform with command, control, and communications capabilities capable of carrying a complex sensor payload and being reliably tracked via RF in transit and recovered upon landing.

Over the summer I lead PCB design, test, and troubleshooting for Ryobi battery management systems and battery interfaces. I focused on large scale lithium ion battery management systems and behavior of complex battery packs under stress for an emerging Ryobi product line. I also solved component supply chain and requirements concerns for Ryobi, optimizing for value at large scale manufacturing saving on component costs over the product life cycle. I solved complex issues such as prevention of ringing of short circuit protection FETs under 1000A+ momentary short circuit current.

Over the summer, I focused on radar systems engineering of solid-state radar products, specifically Radar Signal Processing (RSP) on the Aegis Combat System. I developed processes to optimize simulations of radar products, working closely with a team of other engineers to meet contract technical guidelines.

I worked as a Summer 2019 Solar Operations Engineering Intern based out of the DeSoto Photovoltaic Power Plant in Arcadia, Florida. In this role, I worked on PV panel degradation characterization using infrared and MPPT characterization, repair of damaged PV panels, manufacturer warranty claim coordination, operations and maintenance of large solar inverters, and more with a constant focus on safety, integrity, responsibility, teamwork, and innovation. I designed and built a small scale working version of an FPL solar power generation facility and gave a company-wide presentation on how solar energy works from start to finish.

-Performed component level repair of marine radios, radars, fish finders, GPSs, inverters, and displays increasing revenue by 120% during my 3-year tenure as a repair technician.-Analyzed failure modes of various equipment and determined what components to purchase to facilitate repair. -Ran entire repair department including billing and all repairs while my boss was away for up to 2 weeks at a time.

- As an intern at Lumenier I focused on developing a quality control method to determine if a brushless DC motor's bearings and rotor/stator clearances were within acceptable tolerances by analyzing audio from the motors and utilizing fast Fourier transform.

Ran environmental and general stress tests on crash survivable memory modules to determine their effectiveness. Interned with various engineering departments including EE, ME, Software Engineering, and Systems Engineering.
