Ben is the founder of Burdick Law PLLC, a law firm dedicated to providing affordable, compassionate, and above all high-quality legal representation and advice to the hardworking people of Central New York and beyond. He previously was an associate at Blitman & King LLP, where he represented public and private sector labor unions. Prior to joining Blitman & King, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lidia S. Stiglich of the Nevada Supreme Court. During law school, he trained in the California labor law office of Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld. He was honored with the Victor Van Bourg Scholarship, awarded to a law student committed to the practice of labor law on behalf of unions and working people. Before deciding to become a lawyer, Ben obtained a master’s degree in theoretical physics, with a concentration in the foundations of quantum mechanics, from the prestigious Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.Ben is a Syracuse native and a graduate of Nottingham High School. He was thrilled to return to Central New York after a decade-long absence. He resides in Eastwood with his wife Kara and their two large dogs. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, hiking, cycling and skiing.
