•Directly responsible for the safe loading, storage, inventory management, and delivery of vessels’ cargo, including: warehouse goods (freeze, chill and dry cargo) as well as bulk ammunition and marine-grade fuels.•Charged with administering the maintenance program of the vessels’ cargo handling gear (fork trucks, helicopter gear, cranes, etc.) to ensure timely preventative maintenance was conducted.•Responsible for training a crew of 115, implementing and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.•Responsible for the inventory maintenance of numerous bulk ammunition accounts, using accountability software to receive, store and issue ammunition to various Naval Units.
