I assist the captain in providing on-time flights in a scheduled, 121 airline environment. I also assist the captain with assigned duties and tasks within the company's standard operating procedures. I am type rated on both aircraft that Alaska Airlines operates, the Airbus A-320 and Boeing 737.

As a 121 airline captain, I retained the responsibility for passengers and crew members safety aboard our company's CRJ700's. I operated and made command decisions based on regulations, aircraft manuals and GoJet airlines company policies and procedures. As a basic and instrument instructor, I provided private, instrument, commercial, and advanced instruction to flight instructor candidates at a 14 CFR Part 141 flight school. I provided phase checks and check ride prep for candidates receiving multiple types of ratings and licenses. Aircraft range from both classic instruments to G-1000 instrumentation with carburetor and also turbo and fuel injected engines.
