I worked alongside ECOSLO staff to help care for, plan, and carry out community outreach related to our Urban Tree Program and Full Circle Cal Fire grant. This includes caring for trees on-site, utilizing ArcGIS to aid in planning future planting locations, meeting with San Luis Obispo City representatives, and community outreach.

I worked alongside veterinary staff to greet and ensure patients were properly placed. Additionally, I kept patient records according to our office standards. Within this I would maintain and update our physical files as well as updating our electronic system. During my time working there we introduced this electronic system, and I was a part of moving all of our patient information to a digital medium.

I was grateful to work alongside Dr. Lilli Kaarakka to organize the keystone 12 unit NR 474/475 course. This summer class is taught almost entirely through outside speakers who are professionals in the forestry industry, and related disciplines. The focus of the course is to teach about the creation of a Timber Harvest Plan (THP) under all requisite CEQA regulations.
