Imaging, databasing, filing and preparing specimens in the Botany collection. Significantly increased the accessibility of specimens, worked toward identifying taxa in the collections, and contributed to Wikipedia to make information more readily available.

Continuation of Summer Research project on native orchids (see below).

Awarded to undertake conservation research on native orchids. Included population surveys, examining herbarium specimens, seed collection, germination experiments, long term storage, and phylogenetic analysis. Output will consist of research papers, blog posts and a New Zealand Plant Conservation Network article.

Processing three herpetological acquisitions, learning collection management skills, familiarising with museum databases and procedures, use of Microsoft Excel, and co-authoring three blog posts.

Primarily a pastoral care role involving responsibility for a floor of 20 students. Proactive organisation of events to facilitate community and connectedness. Dealing with welfare, promoting wellbeing, maintaining security. Secretary for weekly meetings.

Organising and databasing confidential client information; learning to use financial management and Office 365 tools.
