Stepping into an executive leadership role, I collaborate with our leadership team to facilitate department meetings aimed at planning and executing large-scale events for the Boston College community. In this new role, I work closely with Boston College Office of Student Services and many external companies to bring about these events.

I work with a diverse group of peers in order to develop and bring about the biggest, most iconic events of Boston College tradition, such as the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

Joining the Campus Activities Board, I received mentorship from upperclassmen peers on how to collaborate to plan and execute school-wide events for the Boston College community.

I develop interactive educational programs for diverse student groups, focusing on marine science, oceanography, and biological research to advocate for scientific knowledge and environmental awareness. I also advance ‘Sharks After Dark,’ an engaging adult education initiative, through resource management to create and implement hands-on learning experiences intended to promote environmental conservation and foster a deeper understanding of Southern California’s natural environment.

As a member of Boston College’s PULSE program, I volunteered for 12 hours a week as a health coach in the Let’s Get Movin’ program through EBNHC. In this role, I mentored and coached 20 students with the ultimate goal of improving the physical health and nutrition habits of kids at risk of obesity, diabetes, etc. I performed bi-monthly testing to collect data of the health progression of the students to be compiled and presented to program funders, such as New Balance.

As an intern, I supported current water projects and assisted the development of new projects through a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to project research, cost analysis report, engineering studies, etc.

During the month of June, I worked 24 hours a week shadowing Clinical Research Coordinators, observing patient care, and assisting with other responsibilities of the pulmonology research facility, including lab work and document authentication. Throughout July, I shadowed Dr. Ryan Klein and observed primary and pulmonary care.
