I would love to practice commercial/transactional law, but I generally find the law interesting in all aspects. While in law school, I took mostly commercial law classes (environmental law, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, drafting contracts, etc.) but I also took a trial practice class to round out my skillset. My interest in business law started while studying at the University of California San Diego where I earned in a minor in Entrepreneurship. I want to combine my legal skills with my business knowledge to assist clients in their projects, minimize client costs, mitigate risk, and create processes and procedures to steer them clear of legal peril.While at Regent's School of Law, I was an active member of the Regent's Business Law Society and the Intellectual Property Society. Once I am employed and get into a routine, I hope to give back to my school by finding or providing opportunities for Regent law students.
