Supported and expanded functionality of our online personalization engine that utilized web-to-print technology from Quark. Enabled the ADA and other drop ship partners to embed our solution on their website so customers could seamlessly place orders.Added responsibilities of supporting operational Windows desktop applications, while working on porting them over to the web (Apache Wicket/Cayenne).Rebuilt a warehouse application that produced tickets, packing lists, and invoices for multiple business units (Apache Wicket/Cayenne).Supported the setting up of a new business unit in Italy by building multiple invoices and reports in Italian.Was the sole programmer that made all the software changes required to migrate the company's shipping operations from UPS to FedEx.

Implemented new features for multiple high volume (6,500 hits, $60,000 sales daily) e-commerce websites.Worked closely with coworkers at every level (directors, web content producers, marketing executives and customer service representatives) to ensure the websites exceeded the customers' expectations in every way.Created an XML order processor that enabled the American Dental Association and other drop ship partners to submit about $250,000 worth of orders annually, complete with order and shipping acknowledgements.Implemented a manufacturer promotions page that allowed customers to easily search for specific promotional products and filter them by manufacturer.Created a reorder page where customers could view all previously ordered products and their respective quantities ordered within a specific timeframe and add any of these items to their cart.Participated in a company-wide initiative to manage customer expectations on the web—added code to the website to pull data from various sources and analyze them to provide an accurate expected ship date for all our products.Added or improved upon a wide range of features including order history, product display grid, product pages, product personalization, email list management, Google Analytics integration, promotion performance tracking, home page offer split testing, AJAX functionality and Lucene search engine integration.

Developed Sleekdeals.com (now defunct) with a partner, a shopping and deal portal, from conception to launch. Extensively modified PHP-Nuke (open-source PHP news portal package) to fit design specifications. Designed and created all banners and icons on the website using Photoshop and Fireworks. Wrote computer hardware reviews and recommended specific hardware for individual users of Sleekdeals. Promoted website through bulletin boards, search engine optimization, and banner exchanges.

Wrote new PHP code and modified the existing MySQL database to add image uploading and management, email alert functionality and various administrative features to Michigan Rentals (http://mi.object-insight.com). Attended monthly meetings with client to give progress reports and refine application requirements.

Created the initial web page layouts and website architecture for the company website (http://www.teco.com.tw). My initial design has since been revised, with a majority of my original design elements still present.

Designed the official logo for the University of Michigan Singapore Students’ Association.
