This was a great opportunity for me to gain more knowledge regarding to my course of study where we get to learn it from the professional lecturers and we get to have hand on task done on decommission aircraft components.We have lesson about things that we learnt in school but it is more in-depth, other than that we also have a course called A330/A340 system Familiarisation Course, where we will learn about the different ATA codes of the aircraft and we get hangar visit to have further… Show more This was a great opportunity for me to gain more knowledge regarding to my course of study where we get to learn it from the professional lecturers and we get to have hand on task done on decommission aircraft components.We have lesson about things that we learnt in school but it is more in-depth, other than that we also have a course called A330/A340 system Familiarisation Course, where we will learn about the different ATA codes of the aircraft and we get hangar visit to have further understanding of what we have learnt during class.We have practical session in their workshop, where we get to familiarise ourselves with the different skills need for aircraft maintenance. The best part is the On-Job Training (OJT), this is where we will be given different task to do on decommissioned aircraft components, before that we are required to read the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) for instruction to remove/install the components, which in the process we will learnt different lesson which we can last for a lifetime.
