My Job duties include Admit and Pre-register Patients, Go over Insurance and Benefit Details with Patient, help Co-Facilitate CPT Groups, responsible for biopsychosocial assessment and discharge planning needs of the patient and family, providing counseling and goal focused interventions with patients and families, Perform utilization reviews with insurance companies and will be able to utilize and refer to appropriate community resources, Interacts and communicates directly with members of the healthcare team to expedite patient progress and document progress towards goals, Review and Enter Authorizations into computer. Currently MSW Therapist Intern at Stepping Stone of San Diego Where I Facilitate Group Therapy, Client Intake Process, Individual Therapy with assigned clients, Conduct Biopsychosocial Assessment, Assess for any safety concerns, Discharge Planning with clients, and Provide resources for clients within the community.
