I lead the Impact by Design team in providing the Global Mangrove Alliance (GMA) with “backbone” program management support. In this role, I act as a convener of the Alliance’s 70+ member institutions and coordinating team, provide governance support and guidance on strategic direction, facilitate communication and learning among members, manage data and information, and provide tailored support for the Alliance’s working groups, National Chapters, and emerging initiatives such as the Mangrove Breakthrough.

I lead Impact by Design's Planning & Facilitation Department, program managing our fast-growing portfolio of projects. Externally, I collaborate with organizations and teams to develop their capabilities to maximize impact for animals, people, and the environment. As a facilitator and program/project manager, I work with organizations to provide spaces and processes for effective thinking and strategic planning.

Social science research, group facilitation, and workshop planning to identify and understand Brassica carinata adoption barriers among producers in the southeast United States. This work is part of the Southeast Partnership for Advanced Renewables from Carinata (SPARC), a project supported by a $15 million USDA-NIFA CAP grant.
