Directed all software development activities for the TEG® Analytical System and all Level Two software support. Managed a team of four software developers and testers. • Managed development of Version 4.3 of the TEG® Analytical Software using SQL Server, VB.NET and C#. The software communicates with an analytical device designed to measure blood coagulation with real time network viewing, producing the company’s first enterprise level software solution. • Designed and developed Research Use Only software for laboratories, increasing research publications on the Haemonetics device.• Managed development of a translation tool for using the system software in Russian, leading to $2 million in sales to Russian customers within six months.• Planned, designed, coordinated and implemented a software patch to compensate for a hardware design flaw, removing Regulatory and Marketing roadblocks for the new product in development.• Developed a three year roadmap for software development priorities.• Completed a review and update of software development practices at the Haemoscope division increasing maintainability and regulatory compliance. • Provided competitive advantage through management of excellent Tier Two support.• Performed internal audits of the Quality System, leading to changes that improved regulatory compliance.• Served as a subject matter expert for FDA and ISO 13485 audits.

Managed the software development and support for the TEG® Analytical System. Planned and implemented the IT infrastructure and maintenance for the company, supporting significant employee growth. Managed three employees.• Managed development of Versions 4.1 and 4.2 of the TEG® Analytical Software to further meet the needs of our customers.• Designed and developed new algorithms for displaying data, making related external research papers possible.• Provided exceptional Tier Two support to external customers, leading to increased sales and a competitive advantage over other similar products.• Developed and implemented R&D Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that centralized and standardized the research and development activities to increase productivity and regulatory compliance.• Designed and developed Research Use Only features of the software to support research customers and increase usage of the system leading, to a sale worth over $200,000.

Designed and developed Version 3 of TEG® Analytical Software, the first Windows based version of the software, allowing users to network the data for the first time and making it possible for the system to make inroads into the centralized lab setting.

Led a team of technicians in assembling, repairing, and training on the TEG® analyzers. Developed procedures and instructions on upgrading and repairing the devices.
