I currently line manage between 18-30 colleagues which involves coaching and development of the team. I am fully responsible for customer service and company performance goals and accountable for adherence to risk, change, compliance and security rules and processes within the branch. I have the responsibility for a number of additional branches where I line manage the branch managers, mentor and support with staffing, coaching and development. I also support the area by giving presentations and leading conference calls.I was recently given the opportunity of a senior leadership position to manage a busy city centre branch along three subsidiary branches in and around Gloucester on a secondment basis for three months.Whilst on secondment in Gloucester, I also undertook a Colleague Engagement Working Group: I was one of 20 individuals selected as top talent across UK retail banking to recommend actions for achieving consistently high levels of colleague engagement to improve end customer experience. I deliver a number of Money Skills sessions in local schools educating children with Financial Awareness and work closely with local job centres leading CV and Assessment preparation workshops. I regularly fundraise in and outside of the branch and have raised several thousands of pounds for a number of charities.In 2012, I was nominated for and completed the Barclays Future Leaders' programme. This was a leadership programme where the top talent across the region was identified for emerging leaders. It was an intense seven month programme which involved time working in head office with senior executives learning different aspects of the business. I developed myself with many different courses such as commercial awareness and leadership styles.
