This role is performed in conjunction with the Regional Engineering Manager position.Direct accountability for line maintenance operations at MEL, ADL & HBA airports. Ensuring all stations are operated and maintained to the highest levels of safety, quality and compliance in accordance with company, manufacturers and regulatory requirements. Monitoring rosters, manpower, technical training needs and recurrent training requirements. Performing routine inspections and audits of station facilities including offices, equipment, vehicles and documentation records. Engaging directly with local and offshore customers to ensure delivery of service and communication standards. Investigate and report all findings from minor and major incidents and implement actions to mitigate and manage future risk. Work with local airport agencies and regulators in various activities and planned exercises to enhance emergency responses to aviation related events.
