I have embarked on creating a better future for my family and myself. The army has been a big part of my life for over 5 years, but it's time to change as I have outgrown my role and responsibilities. I initially joined the army for a challenge and to push myself physically and now craving to push myself mentally. While serving I have developed skills in marketing, sales and team management in the hope of starting my own business. My first business attempt was to create ad copy for different niches in the e-commerce space, working as a freelancer in between deployments. I then went on to develop from a freelancer into a full-fledged business I named "Eflon" delving into the healthcare niche. I began helping counsellors to find new clients and grow their own business. While running this business I made many mistakes while also teaching me valuable lessons which led me to my next venture. Next was a product-based business where I was selling somebody else's product I didn't really believe in and at that point, it became apparent I needed to create a brand not just a business. So that's exactly what I have done. While getting ready to exit the army I have teamed up with a friend who shares the same passion for becoming financially free. We have started a cosmetic brand named "Fortifyd" making men's beard care products. It is still in its early days and is currently creating the formulas. Being able to be proud of a product and not just trying to sell anything to make money fast is the main goal. I have learnt a lot over the years of doing different business ventures and am keen to make a brand that I can grow, take care of and last for years to come. I want to jump into a new role outside the army where I can use the skills I have learned and develop them even further. I can be a valued asset to any team as I am a quick learner and highly competent. I love a challenge and always strive for perfection. I embrace change and strive to be the best in everything I do.
