I joined the British Army in May 2016 after already Scaffolding 8 years, I went through basic training at ATC Pirbright where I was taught the basic skills of a soldier, core values and standards and put through current Assessments that would test you mentally and physically.After passing out successfully I went on to my chosen unit which was 7 RHA where I had to pass the prestigious P-COMPANY, that is when I gained my Maroon beret and Parachutist Wings. Throughout the time I was in the army I gained Leadership skills, mental resilience, confidence, physical and robust fitness and the professionalism I needed to promote in a leadership culture.
