 Researched, recorded, and presented information on 136 state and federal bills to the CTA Environmental Policy Committee, covering issues such as e-waste generation and recycling, chemical safety and regulations, packaging and labeling standards, right to repair, and extended producer responsibility. Organized the registration, travel, and schedule for over 30 state and local government attendees for CES 2023. Synthesized one-pagers for distribution to elected officials on the increasing environmental strides made by the consumer technology industry and by exhibitors at CES 2023. Coordinated meeting times, agenda, and recorded minutes for CTA’s Environmental Policy Committee, Chemical Subcommittee and Packaging Subcommittee.

 Completed 700 hours of local, community-based work completed alongside my graduate degree. Coordinated 2 virtual webinars with multiple citizen groups on warehouse proliferation, with over 100 combined attendants and several hundred views on the webinar recordings.  Researched and analyzed reports on responsible consumer spending and the environmental impacts of the logistics industry which I synthesized into a fact sheet on responsible consumerism. Presented comments to the NJ Planning Committee about the importance of developing new warehouse development legislation with emphasis on minimizing community impact in rural towns and urban centers.

Assessed the viability of separating the products of the inversion of sucrose on an ion-exchange resin and an on-line refractometer. Developed a procedure to measure the kinetics of the enzymatic reaction through multiple testing regimens and applications of the Michaelis-Menten and Lineweaver-Burke model for enzyme kinetics. Quantified the Michaelis constant and catalytic efficiency for invertase.
