Safety Manager | Training Specialist
CurrentTraining Department • Set goals for safety training program objectives and compliance with the Safety Manager. • Develop health and safety training programs that meet compliance and employee goal objectives. • Facilitate and conduct training course that meet network 180 standards with skills and knowledge check-offs. o MANDT de-escalation and physical management o CPR / First Aid/ BLS • Present on safety topics in employee orientation and other meetings. • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback. • Prepare training status and other reports. • Remain current on developments in training and instructional methodologies and techniques, including technology enhancements.Safety Manager Department • Conduct safety meetings, adults, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, and implement follow-up assessments.• In conjunction with Director of Facilities Management, plan, implement, and conduct comprehensive safety and health programs at all Network 180 sites. • Serve as a co-chair of the Health and Safety Committee. • Serve as back-up representation at Region 6 health Care Coalition and related Community Emergency Preparedness Activities. • Resource for the Safety Response Team. • Participation in accreditation activities for regulating agencies; CARF, OSHA/ MIOSHA, MDHHS, and others. • Conduct emergency preparedness drills at all agencies and sites on all shifts. • Research, draft, and implement health and safety policies and procedures. • Maintain electronic records of safety inspections activities, reports, and correspondence. • Participate in team and project meetings and provide regular on -site presence.
