The projects usually require but are not limited to Management of Change, Process Safety Management, PSSR's, PHA's, and training of personnel. Duties expected while running the project include; Monthly forecast, Managing Contractors, and Bid package design reviews. Perform efficiency calculations on Turbo-machinery, process equipment, and fired equipment. Based on findings design changes were made in addition with working with operations and maintenance to improve reliability and improve the overall efficiency. Trained operations and Maintenance on proper boiler water treating, and maintenance. Saved 1.2 million dollars/year in annual repair costs. Worked with the Commercial Development group on new contracts with existing and new customers. Acted as the facilities process engineer these duties included process simulations for improved recoveries that were used for economic bases in Development Payout Projects or troubleshooting existing systems for operations. Developing operator tools to be used at the gathering station for trending gas turbine efficiency which was used to trigger preventive maintenance work orders. Planner and Coordinator of unit shutdowns within the Complex. Function as Sr. Maintenance Engineer duties include running Root Cause Failure Analysis, Vibration Program, and working to develop mechanical integrity program for piping and vessels

Provide weekly progress reporting to Dynegy Lab personnel and recommendations for the adjustment to the unit to maintain compliance. Designed a 120gpm-wastewater plant for Dynegy Midstream Services. This consisted of biological reactor design, equipment sizing, piping, filtration, oil water separation, and electrical distribution. Manage the installation of the plant from design to startup. Evaluated the use of using high temperature microbes at Orion Refining to deal with the added heat load at the inlet to the wastewater plant. This consisted of operating a pilot reactor onsite and modeling the conversion of COD/BOD at the elevated process temperatures. Based on the results a proposal was made on how to adapt the plant to meet the new conditions. Designed a 20gpm skid based wastewater unit for Baker Huges New Iberia Facility to handle oil wash water and provided onsite monitoring on a monthly basis. Designed a 60gpm land based industrial wastewater system for Global Envirotec Port of Iberia facility to handle port wash water from industry inside and around the port which was transported to the facility for treatment.
