This internship required that I manage my own schedule and be responsible for my time. I traveled across northern Iowa collecting images of BASF products in field environments. I contacted retailers and growers to find sites where a BASF product was in use. These images were used to create marketing materials for the 2018 growing season.

Iowa State Capitol, Des Moines, Ia

I served as a clerk for Representative Hein from Monticello, IA during the second session of the 86th Iowa General Assembly as well as the first and second sessions of the 87th General Assembly. Representative Hein is Chair of the Iowa House Standing Agriculture Committee; therefore, I served as the Committee Secretary. While working at the Capitol I received foreign delegations, prepared official and unofficial correspondence, and performed legislative research. I also handled communications and social media messaging. Included are examples of newsletters that I was responsible for compiling. The section entitled "News from District 96" was written weekly by myself, published online and in local papers.
