Demonstrates leadership within and outside PM&R department to promote a model of excellence in practice, education, research and administration. Accountable for daily staff scheduling based on workload. Exercises judgment with interpretation of defined procedures and policies. Ensures work unit policies and procedures are followed. Maintains active and current general knowledge of the practice and is willing to step in and assist the assist/coach/mentor therapy staff as required. Provides patient care 25-50% of the time.
