HSBC Global Banking & MarketsSecurities ServicesFund Administrator – Accounting & ValuationsJob DescriptionWorking in a small specialist team I am responsible for running (daily, monthly, annual) fund valuations on a variety of Institutional investments such as Unit Trusts, Life & Pension Funds, OEICS and SICAVs on behalf of internal & external clients, including Fund Managers.Tasks include financial reconciliations (using ICON), data analysis & problem solving, communicating with HSBC operational teams in India, Sri Lanka & Stirling & client interaction with institutions. I have gained valuable experience of trade processing, market data feeds & aggregation. In addition, I have worked with the wider team to manage cash settlements, income processing & corporate actions & most recently enjoyed early exposure to an exciting new financial product known as Transparent Tax Funds (TTF’s). Using a variety of tools such as Lotus Notes, MS Access, Excel & Word I am also involved in assembling Trustee and Depository Packs and well as more regular Investment Management Reporting for Fund Managers.

Assisting in the daily Investment Administration services to assigned clients, in particular trade processing, trade matching and settlement, security reconciliations and data maintenance.
