As a product specialist with the GT Exhaust and Silex Brands I work directly with customers to design custom exhaust systems to fit their applications. These applications were primarily generator systems for backup power, data centers and oil and gas exploration equipment. Once the system was designed for the the engine and application I would then coordinate with the factory floor to determine pricing, lead time and order management. Occasionally on large projects I would also travel to the specific location to consult the customer on how best to design a solution for their project.In early 2020 I was promoted to the Aftermarket Product Line Manager. I now manage roughly 1800 product skus, making them available for the OEM and consumer markets through both business to business and online retail channels.

I owned and ran E.B. Tool company, we did short run CNC machining manufacturing and prototyping / developing of new products, mostly hand tools. and other products to be licensed. After 2009 I used the business to develop and bring hand tools together with my business partners and market them through Amazon and our own website

I worked as the Sales and Marketing Director with Fifth Season. My job entailed moving locally sourced foods through distributors such as Reinhart food service and Sysco to small businesses and hospitals where they would then be marketed to consumers. I coordinated the marketing and sourcing plans and worked with the distributors to also coordinate the trucking and deliveries. I enjoyed my time with Fifth Season and met a lot of great people in the local food scene. The driftless valleys of WI have a great culture of local food enthusiasts

Loved this job- I helped people make sense of the stock market, plan for their children's education, plan for their retirement and save money for the future. It gave me the opportunity to learn more about the inner workings of larger companies and perspective to plan my own.- I still love to play the market and probably always will.

I worked with customers to set up marketing campaigns that encompass both print and digital media. The thing I really love about this job is being out and networking with other businesses and being able to help them avoid some of the shortfalls I faced when running Beneby Tool full time. It is very important to get advertising right the first time

Before I owned my shop I was deployed to Iraq, I received an Army Commendation Medal for scrounging junk yards to build a fuel point for FOB O'Ryan. It was a good experience and I am glad I went.
