Profile bio

About Benjamin Eckley

https://beckley.mystrikingly.comI am a driven, passionate, Avionics EE (Electrical & Electronics) Design Engineer II @Boeing | @SpaceX Former Starship Automation & Controls Associate Engineer, DCS. My dream sparked as a 5th grader at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. As a young child growing up, my head was more in the clouds than in the classroom. The one interest I had to keep my focus was my fascination with outer space. This gave me a fascination that led me to decide to dedicate my life to the space industry and its higher purpose. I have a very strong passion for spaceflight operations and human spaceflight endeavors. I am very interested in the engineering that goes behind launching a rocket for both cargo and crew applications. I have been following the ongoing success of this industry, and I have been looking forward to the industry’s future involvement in commercial crew operations and deep space exploration. Looking to the stars to understand the humanity inside us is a way to connect all things. I believe there is nothing more symbolic of hope for the future, peace and the peak of human potential than space exploration, and its effect on new generations. There has not been a more important time than this very moment to keep this flame burning. I believe in being very passionate and having a strong work ethic in order to be successful. I fully understand that a learning curve may be involved in understanding certain fundamentals for an experienced engineer, but I look at this challenge as an opportunity to be knowledge hungry as I learn and work alongside engineers who may already have years of experience. Along with my resume and cover letter, I submitted a portfolio of my unique works that demonstrates my expertise and excellence. I look forward to the chance at this opportunity to work for this industry and demonstrate my abilities and offer my services in support of the space program.

Listed skills include Objective C, Research And Development, Arduino, Data Entry, and 74 others.
