Job related tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:• Investigative Interviews and Reporting• Conduct interviews regarding merchandise theft, commission card fraud, and time card manipulation. Provide written and oral communications. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to report or investigate crimes. Maintain documentation or reports on security-related incidents and investigations. Testify in civil or criminal court proceedings.• Safety & Security: Active monitoring and control of closed circuit television system. Complete covert surveillance and control security check points. Respond to critical incidents, such as violent weather, or civil disorders. Coordinate with human resources, or other departments to assist in company programs, investigations, and training. Apprehend and detain shoplifters in accordance to company guidelines.

Job related tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:• Pre-Sentence Investigations:• Conduct in depth interviews with felony level offenders and collect collateral information. Submit written testimonies, criminal histories, chemical background, as well as mental health histories if applicable.• Conduct Criminal Background Checks and Mental & Behavior Screenings:• Investigate Felony level clients’ criminal backgrounds; complete chemical health, gambling assessments, and domestic abuse assessments.• Complete Client Risk Levels:• Complete Level of Service Inventory-Revised (LSI-R) and Level of Service/Case Management Instrument Risk Assessments (LS/CMI).• Collect Victim and Offender Collateral Information:• Speak with victims and provide written recommendations to the Court. Provide testimony to attorneys, sheriff, and police departments, including pertinent special units/narcotics information.

Job related tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:• Search and Seizure:• Conduct client and property searches to ensure compliance. Confiscate illicit drugs, alcohol, and paraphernalia; inventory and submit violation reports.• Transport and Arrest:• Process warrants and apprehension/detention orders to Court Administration. Work in conjunction with the Sheriff, County Attorney, Judges, and local Police Departments. Handcuff, arrest, and transport offenders.• Bail Evaluations:• Perform inmate interviews and determine flight and public safety risk. Recommend curfews, alcohol monitoring, drug testing, curfew, GPS supervision.• Probation Violation Reports:• Submit probation violation reports and testify to noted infractions to the courts. Provide recommendations of incarceration, community service, restitution, behavior therapy programming, or chemical dependency treatment.• Electronic Monitoring (GPS and Alcohol): Supervise electronic home detention monitoring, and global positioning supervision (GPS) monitoring for domestic abuse offenders. Submit reports to the courts which directly recommend conditions of Pre-Trial directives. Format and attach proper surveillance unit to the offender’s person; create “safe zones” and monitor offenders’ maneuvers at all hours. Remain in consistent contact with victims of domestic abuse, alerting them of any urgent concerns and changes in offenders court ordered recommendations. Notify victims and proper authorities if significant dangers arise. Submit warrant and apprehension/detention requests to the court.• Non-traditional hours:• Enforce client curfews while on patrol. Be available at all hours to assist in warrant requests and critical decisions. Observe client activities; follow-up on communication and gathered information. Job related tasks and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:• Supervision:• Provide juvenile offender supervision to juvenile misdemeanor offenders’, truants, runaways, and juveniles suffering with mental health disorders such as operational defiant disorder. Enforce disciplinary measures when deemed appropriate.• Facilitate Group Therapy Sessions:• Conduct group therapy sessions, daily goals, and address defiant, disruptive, and destructive behaviors. Engage in group bonding activities. Coordinate and encourage client involvement throughout cognitive programming and peer accountability.• Conduct Proper Intake and Discharges:• Conduct interviews with juveniles, social workers, and police. Complete required paperwork to admit and discharge juvenile offenders. Provide information to other staff members at staff changes, and work closely with staff in assisting a safe and secure environment. Assess offender risk levels; act responsibly, quickly, safely, and accordingly during violent outbreaks.
