Electrical, Instrumentation And Controls Designer
Current- Designing electrical, instrument, and controls drawings and documents, including: Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for medium (4160V) and low (600V) voltage Switchgear (SWG), Motor Control Centres (MCC), and Distribution Panels (DP) considering all metering and protections for incoming feeders and various types of outgoing loads - Arc Flash, Short Circuit, Load Flow, and Coordination Study using ETAP - Control Schematics for Direct On Line (ATL), Soft Starter (SS), and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) type motors, valve control panels, lighting and heat tracing systems - Power systems, indoor and outdoor main/ secondary cable routing, and lighting layouts - PLC panel layouts, power distribution, and wiring diagram for RPU or SCADA systems - Gas detection and fire alarm drawings and control schematics.- Assisting proposals in preparation of work plan, project schedule, technical key considerations, multidisciplinary drawings list, time-task matrix (TTM), and fee estimate.- Developing preliminary (PDR) and detailed design (DDR) reports, project specifications, cost estimation, and tender packages.- Reviewing and commenting on vendors' shop drawings.- Supporting construction team through replying to their requests for information (RFIs), regular site inspections, and joining at Site Acceptance Test (SAT) events.
