At the heart of my efforts is a desire for the mutual well-being of humanity and the wildlife and ecological systems that sustains life on Earth. My professional experiences are varied, including rangeland management, environmental education, video production, marketing and mobile application design. Following 6 years as manager of a 5,000 acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country and three years in marketing, I chose employment as the Director of Adult Education and Citizen Science at the Cibolo Nature Center. In this position I educate landowners about land stewardship practices and the value of ecological services, teach homeowners about resource conservation, and educate organizations and individuals regarding the role of agriculture in the loss of habitats world wide and agroecology practices that combines habitat conservation with food production. My responsibilities include developing and coordinating adult education programs, co-creating a nature-based preschool, developing gardening and agriculture programs , planning sustainable living demonstrations, prairie restoration and the installation of a permaculture orchard.Additionally, I am working with numerous organizations to achieve positive impacts at a broad scale, including videos to encourage natural resource conservation and watershed stewardship, and efforts to educate and encourage the adoption of low impact development practices by municipalities.I am increasingly confident that humanity can achieve social harmony and environmental resilience, and creating peaceful co-existence for current and future generations.
