Within this role I managed a number of different Marketplace-centred departments such as Development, Marketing, Asset Creation and further environments to create an overall well-rounded project pinpointed to a specifically tailored target audience.Also within this role, I was able to understand the attitudes and regulations of the Marketplace to allow myself to attribute these to my work. This led to increased efficiency as it removed any chance of delay due to broken regulations.Not only did I gain the experience of working with the Marketplace itself, but I also gained further experience cultivating and managing creative products with a team of over 40 people in a number of varied departments. Departments such as level design, design, marketing, quality assurance and more.Alongside my work with individuals, I also - as a whole - managed budgeting for each project which included distributing pay to each department depending on the intensity of their work within the context of the project. Not only did I allocate budgets, but I ensured that those budgets were followed throughout the entire duration of the project.Remaining with the management of projects as a whole, I also ensured that projects stuck to a strict, but well-crafted, timeline based on the individuals working on each task and the intensity of the project itself. Each project under my management, which usually stretched to over twelve at a time, was treated with individual care based on the needs of the project.Further responsibilities within this role are operations such as market analysis which would then be put together to form material used as an advertisement for the project. I would personally analyse the trends within our current environment and would then design a marketing concept based on that.

Being able to create plans and manage a team along the lines of a client brief has given me the insight to understand exactly what is desired by the client of their contractor.

Within my role as a Designer for Meraki Studios, I was able to create and design a number of plans off on a carefully selected brief. Although this plan had the creative freedom of myself, it also needed to be balanced with my own ability to understand the trends and the progress of the Minecraft Marketplace environment.Similarly, my ability to understand these trends, allowed me to understand the specifics of design in fields such as story, dialogue, asset descriptions, map layout, build design and further environments within that collection.This knowledge has allowed me to create designs that work with the community. Designs that encourage members of the Minecraft community to entertain our content based on the premise that it is tailored, and crafted, towards what is most looked for by a client.With this, it has not only given me a concrete understanding of how the Minecraft Marketplace works, but also the qualities and factors that are desired by its customers.
