With a BA (Hons) in Youth and Community Work from University of Cumbria, I am a JNC qualified youth worker with over 8 years of experience in the youth sector. I have worked with various organisations and projects to engage and empower young people through social action, participation, and voice. As a Senior Club Manager at Wigan Youth Zone, I lead and support a team of youth workers to deliver high-quality and inclusive services for young people aged 8-19. Some of my achievements include co-ordinating the Universal Project and Youth Voice initiative at Warrington Youth Zone, leading the Engagement and Participation provision at the same organisation, and facilitating multiple youth-led campaigns and events on topics such as mental health, climate change, and diversity. My core competencies are youth empowerment, youth engagement, social action, and team management. I am passionate about creating positive change in the lives of young people and the communities they live in. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with others, and challenge myself to grow as a youth worker and a leader.Very proud to be working for Wigan Youth Zone since 2022 ,which was Charity of Year at CYPN 2023 and we are also believed to be the biggest youth centre in Europe!
