I am an Arabist researcher specialising in international relations. My areas of study include the Middle East, the European Union, and the relations between the EU and Syria. Currently based in Turkey, I work as an independent consultant and also work as a researcher with The Syria Report, the leading source of economic, business, and financial information on Syria since September 2021.I am available to discuss exciting projects and opportunities in the field of international relations, political science, and economics, making use of my trilingual skills in research, analysis, monitoring, and policy writing, as well as my in-depth knowledge of the Middle East. I have had the opportunity to meet and engage - in French, English, and Arabic - with key actors in the Syrian context, including diplomats, businesspeople, humanitarians, and activists.In addition to this, I have also published several research articles on the European Union and Syria, such as "Rome's Hesitations vis-à-vis the Syrian Conflict" and "The European Union and Syria: A History of Diplomatic Relations According to European Sources (1964-2011)". I have been sought after to provide my insights to media outlets such as The New Arab and recently participated in a conference titled "Regional Normalisation with Syria from an International Perspective" organised by the Omran Research Centre.I hold a Master's degree in European and International Studies with a specialisation in Euro-Mediterranean relations. I also hold an advanced-level certification in Arabic and an intermediate-level certification in Turkish.My working languages are English, French, and Arabic. I am currently residing in Istanbul, Turkey, where I have been working for nearly a year after having lived in Lebanon, Jordan, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium.

This project is crucial for informing both national and local decision-makers about potential measures to prevent and mitigate community tensions in Lebanon, while also providing valuable insights for more in-depth academic research.•Atmospheric Monitoring and Reporting on Social and Economic Developments in Lebanon: In partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Triangle undertook to enhance the quality and relevance of weekly atmospheric reports focused on Lebanon. These reports are vital for supporting economic growth and reform efforts in the Middle East, particularly emphasizing Lebanon's economic development in challenging political and financial circumstances. Triangle worked diligently to produce monthly reports centered on economic growth and development, aiming to transform these documents into highly informative and visually engaging resources. -
