In accordance with the standards set forth by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), I am working toward completion of the supervision fundamentals courses, direct supervision offered, and supervision of supervision received. I have training in live supervision, case note supervision, video supervision, group supervision, and teletherapy supervision.

Teaching assistant is responsible for creating and uploading all content used via PowerPoint to BlackBoard. TA is expected to lead the class in various exercises to engage civil communication within the classroom. TA will facilitate, grade, and provide feedback for three student presentation projects per semester. Developed a debate-style presentation to substitute previous requirements of Presentation Two. Debate now fully integrated across all CFAS Curriculum. Teaching assistant is expected to maintain the ethical standards put forth by the University Operating Policies. TA successfully integrated technology throughout teaching though GoReact for live recording and real-time feedback. COVID-19 responses included synchronous lecture through online platforms (asynchronous options available), breakout rooms, and adaptation of discussion activities to be home-based. Weekly office hours held though online platforms to answer any technology or course related questions.

Utilize evidence-based Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Solution Focused Suicide Prevention and Intervention.Through training and practice I offer radically affirmative therapy for LGBTQIA individuals, couples, and families. Additional training and experience in addiction and recovery, non-vanilla sex practices, e.g. king, fetish. Provided therapeutic services to families, couples, and individuals from West Texas Communities. Completed all clinical record-keeping.Integrated multiple clinic assessment scales for informed treatment.Collaborated with faculty and doctoral supervisors regrading clinical best practice. Complied and enforced all HIPAA regulations.

Assisted in the development, production, and publishing of Revise & Resubmit (R&R). Revise and Resubmit is a 10-ish minute podcast hosted by Dr. Cameron Brown in the Couple, Marriage, & Family Therapy Program at Texas Tech. Leading the webdesign and production, I worked closely with Dr. Brown to deliver a podcast that would enhance the writing process of its audience members. The podcast is available for download on any streaming device.

Under the supervision of the Director for the Office of LGBTQIA Education & Engagement, career highlights include: grant writing to the Texas Pride Impact Fund, strategic development of the Big 12 LGBTQIA & Allies Summit, development of a department-wide student assistant training protocol, and the coordination and decoration of key program events, such as the Boots, Bows, and Raindbow Ties Pride Week Gala. Other initiatives included healthcare research, access to care, and community outreach.Program Support - The GA will assist with the development and implementation of programming opportunities for students. This may include such things as presentations and/or trainings to student organizations, classes, or other groups. Special Project (Reporting to the Senior Director of the Center for Campus Life - Assist with the implementation of a training program for students assistants, undergraduate and graduate, for units comprising the Center for Campus Life, including Fraternity and Sorority Life; Office of LGBTQIA; Red to Black; Spirit Office; and Student Involvement. Student Services: The Graduate Assistant will advise lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) and ally students navigating campus life. The GA will assist with the development of resource materials for students, faculty, and staff. Supervision: The GA will supervise undergraduate students assistants and volunteers in accomplishing administrative and programmatic tasks. Office Support - The GA will provide secondary support for other reasonable administrative duties.

Under the direction of the TTU Family Therapy Clinic Director and the Chief Operating Office of Covenant Hospital - Levelland, I developed an externship site in the Levelland region that offered free mental health services to the community. Through extensive collaboration across multiple disciplines at Covenant health services in Levelland, we built an integrative program that services a rural community of West Texas whether they present in the ER, outpatient, or GP services. A unique joy of this opportunity was experiencing our to build a program from the ground up. Though we recognize the need to mental health, professionals are busy and clients will only utilize the service if I am a presence in the hospital. I would frequent rounds in the inpatient wing, check in with the ED director, and offer assistance to GPs throughout the day. Working in a West Texas community, it is clear that connection comes first and profession is second. The program is now in its fourth year and continues to offer needed services to low-income clients in a mental health deserted area.
